a month later..

I have been super busy over the last month, I had my nineteenth birthday (which wasn't all that exciting -  I guess that happens the older you get), I started working again just to earn some funds for uni, but in the process have been spending those funds on clothes, new uni stuff and just about every beauty product that catches my eye (this new addiction is dangerous for my bank balance!). I also (with the majority of the uk) watched ALOT of Olympics, which I enjoyed so much more than I thought I would've - the highlight of course was watching The Spice Girls and Borris' dancing that accompanied the performance! I also got back into reading, I whipped out the old kindle and read both the Carrie Diaries book (lame I know - but so addictive) I've just downloaded Nick and Norah's infinite playlist aswell, so I'm going to start reading that soon. Then generally I've just been doing the usual like seeing friends and family, spending my sundays lazing around watching films and tv and visiting the cinema alot!

(just a small selection at my latest purchases!)

But I think what I've been up to the past day or so probably makes for the more exciting blog post, and even this is dull! So last night I went out for dinner with my mum after work, we went to this newly renovated pub along the quay and it was lovely, I was super full once we had ate though! Then we walked over to the cinema and watched Brave, I loved it so so much! There is something about the new Disney princesses which is so cool, I mean I love Belle and Cinderella as much as any 90's kid but Merida is pretty awesome, and the soundtrack for the film was so good!

(my new favourite film)

Then today I had a day off, so I've been lazing in bed all day and watching old episodes of Beaver Falls, and catching up on new Pretty Little Liars (I can't believe Toby is part of the 'A-Team'!?). Tonight I'm having a early night because I'm up for work at six in the morning! I haven't been up that early since school!

The only other thing I can think to write about is how much I'm loving music at the moment, especially Of Monsters & Men and Jessie Ware's new albums. My top five songs at the moment have to be:
1. Little Talks - Of Monsters & Men
2. Riot Van - Arctic Monkeys (an oldie but a goodie)
3. Swim Good - Frank Ocean (although every song by him a favourite of mine)
4. Cherry Wine - Nas ft. Amy Winehouse
5. Treatment - Labrinth

Well I think I have rambled on enough about everything, so I'm gonna say goodnight and get some sleep before my early start tomorrow! Booooooo xo
Pin It Now!
